How long does it take for a hatchling to grow dragon Cave? ›

Currently, the magic time for all eggs and hatchlings is just under 4 days, and is now known as "ER" or "Emergency Room Time". If your dragon has reached its "time" but has not yet reached a high enough views/unique views/clicks count, it will not hatch or mature until it reaches this count.

I'd say that for most types, 250 unique views is sufficient to hatch, although you may want more if you want them to hatch as soon as possible (below 4 days of age) And for growing up, abut 500 unique views.. They can hatch or grow up with less if the time is lower.

This ability becomes more effective if the Singe Crest is sitting or resting near its hurt teammates. Its bile attack is a cauterizing beam that can stop bleeding, which is a status effect caused from piercing and melee attacks.

Dragons will be able to smell and reveal hidden whimsical trails that can lead them to food (green) and water (blue) sources. Certain creatures will also leave scent trails, such as AI (yellow) and bleeding Dragons (red). The source of the scent will release a puff of colored smoke when players are close.

Eggs require views, unique views, and clicks to grow and hatch into a hatchling. The best ratio of views, unique views, and clicks is unknown, but seems to be influenced by the breed of the egg, whether the egg is on the same scroll as its parents, and the time remaining on its "time until death" timer.

Standard dragons are the most plentiful type on Dragon Cave, accounting for 263 total breeds.

Undead Dragons, also known as Zombies, are a special breed of dragon only obtainable via a creation process, as well as being an original species of Dragon Cave. Attempting to revive a deceased dragon or hatchling (either killed or purposely allowed to die) has a slim chance of resulting in an Undead Dragon.

Clicks are one of the stats that are accumulated in order to raise an egg to adulthood. A dragon receives a click when someone clicks its image and views its stat page. Clicks are more impactful than Unique Views or Views towards an egg/hatchling's growth.

If you wish to attack the dragon directly, it's recommended to use bleed weapons that deal a percentage of health when hemorrhaging. You can also avoid attacking Greyoll entirely and defeat her five children - the smaller dragons closest to Greyoll - as killing each of them will deplete her health by 1/5.

Since the enemy still needs to be defeated more than once, weapons with Bleed, such as the Hookclaws, Thorned Whip, or Winged Scythe, help players take down the Dragon's health relatively quickly.

The dragon has a large HP and is immune to almost everything. Luckily, it seems to have a particular weakness to bleed, so make sure to equip any weapon that causes Hemorrhage. The first step is to summon Torrent and head to the dragon's tail.

It takes about 8 to 10 years for the slow-growing dragon tree to reach just 2 to 3 feet (0.5 to 1 meter) of height, and 30 years for the tree to reach maturity. New leaves grow only from the very end of the youngest branches of a dragon tree.

When the Lightning Dragon egg hatches there will be a strike of lighting. Have a bucket ready, you may have to put out the fire before it spreads, and the dragon could be killed by the fire. By default eggs take 7200 ticks (6 minutes) to hatch, this can be changed in the mod's configs.
