How do I see answered questions on IXL? ›

Scroll down to find the IXL accomplishments section. Here, you'll see an overview of the student's IXL usage (questions answered, time spent, skills practiced) and a breakdown of math and ELA skills they've worked on. Pro Tip: Hover over the pie chart to see how many skills have been practiced in each strand!

REFINING (70-90)

From 70-90, students are refining their skills and building from mid-level to high-level rigor questions. By the time a student reaches a SmartScore of 90, they have achieved “excellence” by showing they are consistently capable of working through high-rigor questions.

The Student Quiz Results report will show the number of questions they got correct, their score for the quiz, and the amount of time they spent on it. Below that you can review individual questions they answered, which display their answer and the correct answer.

IXL diagnostic numbers represent where students are in terms of grade levels. A level of 740 represents a student having learned 40% of the 7th grade skills.

Student Score Chart:

This report allows you to view a single student's progress across all skills. For each skill, you'll see the student's SmartScore, questions answered, time spent, and date of their last practice session.

Consider your learning style: If your child is a visual learner, then you may prefer Khan Academy's videos and articles. If your child is an auditory learner, then you may prefer IXL's games and quizzes.

Fourth grade is displayed as Level F.

What level should a 6th grader be on IXL? ›

Grade level guide: 100 = 1st grade, 200 = 2nd grade, 300 = 3rd grade, 400 - 4th grade, 500 = 5th grade, 600 = 6th grade, 700 = 7th grade, 800 = 8th grade, and 900 = 9th grade. By clicking on the IXL image above or the word IXL, students will be forwarded to the log in page.

For example, a score of 350 indicates that a student understands about 50% of 3rd-grade material and a score of 400 indicates readiness to begin working on 4th-grade skills. These levels range from 0-1300, with 0-50 representing pre-K, 50-100 kindergarten, and 1300 representing the end of 12th grade.

For parents and kids, IXL makes learning fun and enriches at-home learning with built-in support for each child's individual learning journey. Kids have answered over 140 billion questions on IXL.

To view or print the Diagnostic action plans, go to Analytics, and click Diagnostic. For the Diagnostic action plans for your entire roster, click the to the right of “Individual student levels and recommendations.”

Click the Reports tab. Sign in to your IXL account at www.ixl.com. IXL reports offer a winning combination of interactive data, powerful analytics, and easy-to-read graphs. Once your students have started practicing with IXL, the reports in your teacher account will automatically update with real-time data!

Using the Student Progress report

After selecting a student, the report will display one row for every skill that they've practiced. Skills are organized by subject, grade level, and category. For each skill, you can see how much time the student has spent and how many questions the student has answered.
