5. Corris Boyd Scholars Program
The Corris Boyd Scholars Program was established in honor of a healthcare leader who dedicated his life to diversity and excellence in leadership – especially among people of color. Recipients of this award will receive a $40,000 scholarship towards tuition and other expenses at an AUPHA accredited graduate school program of choice. 6. David A. Winston Health Policy Scholarship
The goal of the David A. Winston Health Policy Scholarship is to help promote high quality individuals trained in healthcare policy at the state and federal level. By awarding health policy students with financial support to further their education, this scholarship program can help create more healthcare professionals in the field. The scholarship recognizes student performance and achievement based upon the student’s academic record, recommendations from faculty and colleagues, as well as a strong interest in and commitment to health policy. Ten scholarships will be awarded to students who demonstrate strong potential to succeed in in the field of healthcare upon graduation from their Master’s of Health Administration (MHA) or Health Policy Degree Program.

The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program selects 1,000 talented students each year to receive a “good-through-graduation” scholarship to use at any college or university of their choice. 18. National Association of Health Services Executives Scholarships
The National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) sponsors a set of three annual scholarships. The awards go to African American graduate students in the field of health services. The goal of these scholarships is to help diversifying the profession of health services.
