If someone has shared their calendar with you, you can check when they're available.
See someone else's calendar
Note:You can't add other people's calendars from the Google Calendar app . However, once you add the calendars from your computer, you'll see them in the app.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- On the left click Search for people.
- Start typing someone’s name and choose the person whose calendar you want to see.
- If their calendar is shared publicly or within your organization, you'll see their events on your calendar.
- If their calendar isn't shared publicly, you can send a request to have them share their calendar with you. You'll get an email when their calendar has been shared.
Find a time that someone is free
If someone has shared their calendar with you, or is part of your work, school, or otherorganization, you can check if they're free or busy when adding them to an event.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- On the left, click Search for people.
- Start typing someone’s name and choose the person you want to meet with.
- At the top left, click Create
. - Click Suggested times. If the guest you invited has shared their calendar with you, you'll see when they can attend.
.Guests in other time zones
If a guest is in another time zone and has shared their calendar with you, you’ll see when their meeting starts under their name at the top. Their meeting time is based on their current time zone. Learn more about sharing calendars.
See others' calendars side by side
You can see guests' calendars side by side in Day view when you create an event. Make sure you have turned on this ability by going to Settings 
Settings View options.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- On the left click Search for people.
- Start typing someone’s name and choose the person you want to meet with.
- At the top left, click Create Event.
- Click Find a time. If the guest you invited has shared their calendar with you, you'll see their calendar alongside yours. Guests marked as optional won’t show up.
Note: To check if a room is available, click Add rooms or Add location. Then, choose a room.
Troubleshoot problems
Someone's calendar only says "free" or "busy"
When people share their calendar, they can decide how much information others can see.
The person who shared their calendar with you might have given you permission to see if they're free or busy, but not see all event details.
I can't edit events on a calendar that's been shared with me
When people share their calendar, they can decide what kinds of permissions others have.
If you can't edit events on their calendar, they probably gave you permissions to see, but not edit, event details.
