Local bus
There are several bus lines that operate between Nuremberg Airport and the surrounding area:
- Line 30 – Nürnberg Nordostbahnhof – Flughafen – Am Wegfeld – Erlangen Arcaden – Hugenottenplatz → timetable

Train
Nuremberg Airport is directly connected to Nuremberg’s city centre via U2 subway line. The underground metro train runs to the central train station (Nuremberg Hbf).
- The subway train departs from the airport every 10 minutes and it takes around 12 minutes to reach central train station.
- To reach the city centre, switch to U1 line at Hauptbahnhof, direction Fürth Hardhöhe. Then get off at Lorenzkirche or Weißer Turm
