Healthy Home Life (HHL) is a state grant funded project that is funded by Children's Trust Fund for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. The mission of Healthy Home Life (HHL) is to help improve the quality of life of children and families by helping families and caregivers learn to utilize preventative strategies to create more nurturing, positive home environments. HHL provides trainings directly to communities with historically little to no access to services, including: Lander, Pershing, Humboldt, and Elko counties.
HHL Trainings will begin in January of 2020. Check back for more information on the HHL program!

Wellness comprises of eight mutually co-dependence dimensions: emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and financial. If any one of these dimensions is neglected over time, it will adversely affect one's health, well-being, and quality of life.
Home health care is a wide range of health care services that can be given in your home for an illness or injury. Home health care is usually less expensive, more convenient, and just as effective as care you get in a hospital or skilled nursing facility (SNF).
