Clause 8.2.1 Customer communication addresses the many facets of customer communication including customer views and perceptions. When your organization is addressing the requirements for 8.2.1 some of the communication that should be observed is:

  1. The process for managing customer feedback and complaints
  2. Marketing information
  3. Quotes and order forms
  4. Confirmation of orders and amended orders
  5. Delivery notes and certificates of conformity
  6. Invoices and credit notes
  7. E-mail and general correspondence
  8. Site visit reports or notes to/from customer
